loved it, very resonant with one of my own pieces "the beingness of rain".

have you heard of Martin Prechtel? he says that our understanding of sundance and those rain rituals are all backwards. as it's not a cause & effect system that calls for rain.

it's that the prayers and the grief is rainfall herself, the remembering, the knowing of water and rain in (and being) us first is the initial offering
