Like a rainbow

Short poem

How can I smile after knowing your pain ,

I should not be cold to show my strain.

To be naive , is their a gain?

Perhaps show and see the change

Smile, their will be more pain,

Otherwise this will go in vain

Cry the burden leaves,

Flying far, opening spaces

The void filling slowly

The heart expanding widely

A smile among the tears I find,

A healing to soothe the weary mind

In this journey, through the rain,

Rise above, like a rainbow.

By making a better today ,

hoping for the best tomorrow …
