Do they fear to touch the ground? For they know it is their destiny, to fall down from the sky, to nourish the earthly supply.Do trees fear the wind breeze?Do leaves fear the autumns call, to go far from home, to wander apart? For they know wind will make them flexible, make them sway and restart.Do rivers fear to get touched by obstacles and stones?Do water fear to get mixed up with the mud that makes it dirty? For it knows it's identity, to flow and get clean through highs and lows.Do clouds fear the sun’s bright glow? That melts their forms, makes them goDo they fear they might disappear? For they know their place and role,To dance in the air , aspire dreams and hopes.Do the stars fear the night’s embrace?Do they fear to twinkle in the vast, dark space? For they are content in their watch, though out of sight…Thanks for reading Asma's substack!
