HIS SIGNS

A poem

When a sudden earthquake hits,
Everyone runs, searching for a safe place.
Searching for refuge there is none 
For everything, everywhere, quakes 
In his command everything shakes.

In stillness, they pause for a moment,
Remembering their Lord,
turning inwards,
In a moment they feel
the rising fear of danger,
The edge of eternity, 
where one slip could mean forever.

A glimpse a warning,
Our Lord shows us,
A reminder to look after our deeds,
A call to turn back to our creator,
Before it's too late.

After the earthquake,rain begins to fall,
And the sky darkens above,
I hope it reveals the darkness within,
To repent and go back to Him.

A blessing filled with love and hope
May it cleanse not just earth,
but the deepest corners of our soul. 
A blessing of our Lord 
poured from heaven's,
Washing away the sins of
jinn kind and mankind both.

These are the signs from the One,
One who loves us beyond measure
Giving everyone one more chance,
To reflect and revive upon themselves.
