Blues And Bees

A poem

As I see the dates in my diary,
They remind me
How far I am from the sea,
A sea that I surely see
In my dreams,
A sea which changes
The rhythm of my breath.


A sea of blues and bees,
Some buzz near my head,
Others at my knees.
Scattering beams,
Whispers in doubt,
Like my soul's enemy.


Calling me forward to pass
Through the stormy breeze,
But they are too loud,
Somehow stopping me,
Being a barrier, making me
Fight them endlessly.


As I try to hush them away,
In the noise, I come to see
Why their hum is loud for me
Wisdom layered in their way.


And 
As I rise, I
learn to wait 
more... patiently.
