Beating heart
Poem
Life slips apart looking miles afar some dreams don’t call anymore, and some the sleep can’t recall. They shed their skin on me, questioning... if it is growth? Abrupt faces, caught white handed A reeking voice keeps speaking of a burden never theirs to carry. Choices shimmer with illusion the true solution is not the mind, but the soul. The silence and scream speak together begging for the deaf to hear And holding on to the dead for life. Death is no conclusion, only the passage in-between between this life and the Hereafter no one has seen. But even that The heart no longer feels Dulled by world's dilusions And the eyes! folded shut unbothered They carry the fold, blinding the heart still savoring the sweetness like honey dripping into the coldness of ice. This heart Is it well? Protect it, before it drags the soul into hell. This heart that molds also holds, the same that suffocates also consoles. It torments, it comforts, it wounds and it heals still it beats for you, by the name of your Rabb.
